Annika Larsson, geboren 1972, ist eine schwedische Künstlerin, die hauptsächlich mit den Medien Film und Video arbeitet. Sie interessiert sich für beiläufige aber ausdrucksstarke Gesten und Rituale, für körpersprachliche Verhaltensmuster, hinter denen hierarchische gesellschaftliche Machtstrukturen aufscheinen. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in internationalen Institutionen gezeigt, unter anderem im Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel, in der Fundacion la Caixa, Barcelona, in Le Magasin, Grenoble, in der Kunsthalle Nürnberg, am ICA-Institute of Contemporary Art, London, im ZKM, Karlsruhe, im Moderna Museet, Stockholm, im S.M.A.K., Gent und im Musac, Lyon. Darüber hinaus hat sie an Biennalen wie der 49. Venedig Biennale, der 8. Istanbul Biennale und der 6. Shanghai Biennale teilgenommen. Sie lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
