Our vocal performance programme will enable students to develop their technical expertise and perfect their voice. Further key aspects of this programme include the intensive exploration of various vocal genres and working fields as part of the specialisation process. In addition to an intense programme of studies in their chosen Major, students will continue to develop a broad repertoire of songs, concert and operatic works through extensive repetiteur practice. This is complemented by a diverse range of opportunities for students to gain further practical experience through artistic practice in theatrical projects and opera productions tailored primarily to Master students.
Students can also choose to extend the scope of their artistic practice by studying an advanced module in Historical Performance Practice, New Music, Interpretation, Operatic Repertoire or Choral Performance.
Academic seminars staged in conjunction with project work ensure that students develop a nuanced and critical understanding of artistic practice, while a diverse range of optional modules from other study programmes available at University of the Arts Bremen complement the programme’s core areas of study.
