Weaving Echoes – Meisterschüler:innen-Ausstellung 2022
Weaving Echoes – Meisterschüler:innen-Ausstellung
Exhibition / 11.06. - 17.07.2022
The exhibitions of the Meisterschüler:innen of the Hochschule für Künste provide a multifaceted insight into the quality and diversity of current art production in Bremen. Without exception, new works are presented. The entire spectrum of contemporary art is represented, from painting, ceramics and sculpture to site-specific interventions, sound works and spatial and video installations.
A special highlight is the awarding of the Karin Hollweg Prize, which is linked to the exhibition. Endowed with 15,000 euros, it is one of the most important art promotion prizes at German art colleges.
Up to now, the exhibitions (since 2011) have been held at the Weserburg - Museum of Modern Art. In the future, the exhibitions will be shown in a different Bremen museum each year. This year, the exhibition will be held at the Gerhard-Marcks-Haus.
