IN-Touch Programme

In cooperation with all third level institutions in Bremen, the University of the Arts is part of the IN-Touch Programme addressing refugees who have been studying in their home country. In order to keep their academic/artistic knowledge and skills up-to-date, they can attend lectures, courses and artistic workshops, acquire German language skills and establish social contacts – independent of their respective residence status.

As a first step, you are invited to come to an informal counselling interview so we can determine how you can make use of/expand your previous knowledge and achievements at Bremen’s third level institutions. You will then attain the status of a guest auditor at one of the universities. The choice of the university depends on your respective focus and interests – we will look for a suitable perspective together.

Moreover, we will team you with one of our students who will support you with organisational matters, which might also offer you the chance of establishing contacts.

Prerequisites for attending: At least former studies in a degree programme and sufficient language proficiency in English or German. Deadline to apply for winter semester: September 30. Courses will be held from October until February.

Deadline for summer semester: 31 March. Courses will be held from April until July
