In their lecture FYI – For your interest Tobias Röttger and Susanne Stahl give insights into running a small design practice in Berlin-Kreuzberg. They talk about how to not get clients and how to get clients, how to run a family, a business and a family-business while being creative directors, designers, teachers and interns all at the same time. They talk about failure and about winning, about small and big jobs and how not to lose your soul in the process, or if you do, then only a little.

Stahl R is a Berlin based design studio founded in 2013 by Tobias Röttger and Susanne Stahl. They create unique design solutions for a broad range of clients from the commercial and the cultural fields. Their clients include the inclusive theatre RambaZamba, Galerie Thomas Schulte, the experimental cultural program Imagine the City and the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam. Their work has been rewarded with national and international awards. They teach at various national and international universities.
