The Type Directors Club Award for HfK-project “Lyutyy”

The Type Directors Club (TDC) has announced in New York the winners from 42 countries of its 69th Typography and Type Design Competition – including the HfK Studio Culture and Identity with the art project "Lyutyy". In addition to receiving recognition and the TDC's Certificate of Typographic Excellence, the winners will be published in the annual compendium "World's Greatest Typography" and included in eight international traveling exhibitions and the Global Award Rankings. "Lyutyy" deals with the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. In total, ten photographic, graphic and text-based positions have been created that not only confront the barely endurable horror of war, but also capture equally moving helpfulness, empathy and hope.
