Inspired by Nietzsche’s ”Also Sprach Zarathustra” and the semiotic anomalies found in schizotype diagnosis, an illustration class at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen have developed a performative illustration act, framing key moments in the evolution of human culture, signs and language and the decomposition thereof. Together with the performance, the class has created a Schizo-Semiotic Source Library (SSSL) in book form, built on a modular sets of plates, extracted from the vast amount of drawings generated during the course in the spring of 2015, printed with letter press at Norrbacka tryckeri in Stockholm, with silk screen printed interventions made in the printworkshop at the HfK in Bremen.
On Saturday the 28th of November, 23 uhr, the act and the book will be performed at "Philosophy on Stage #4, Artist Philosophers - Nietzsche et cetera”, Tanzquartier in Wien.
