Der nächste Version-Room präsentiert Ana Filipovic und Luiz Zanotello. Während ihrer Residenz werden Ana und Luiz die Zeitlichkeit der Stadt und die entstehenden Beziehungen zwischen Land, Erde, Lebewesen, Klanglandschaft und Landschaft untersuchen. Beide Künstler werden gesammelte audiovisuelle Materialien zu verschiedenen Aspekten dieser Beziehungen verwenden und sie durch unterschiedliche Rahmungen im Raum präsentieren. In "Die Geräusche des Fortschritts" wird Ana ihre Begegnung mit der sich verändernden Stadtlandschaft Bremens durch Klang aufzeichnen. In "New hypothesis for Baucis" wird Luiz, ausgehend von einer Kurzgeschichte von Calvino, Landschaftsfotografie und die von Ana produzierten Soundscapes in einer zeitbasierten Installation miteinander verbinden.
Der Aufenthalt der beiden im Circa 106 findet vom 28. bis 31. März 2022 statt. Die Eröffnung der Ausstellung ist am 1. April 2022, 18 Uhr, und bleibt bis zum 3. April, 16 Uhr, geöffnet.

The next Version Room presents Ana Filipovic and Luiz Zanotello. During their residency, Ana and Luiz will examine the temporality of the city and the emergent relations between land, earth, living beings, soundscape and landscape. Both artists will use collected audiovisual materials of different aspects of such relationships and will present them in space through different framings. In "The noises of progress" Ana will record her encounter with the changing cityscape of Bremen through sound. In "New hypothesis for Baucis", Luiz uses the point of departure from a short story from Calvino to intertwine landscape photography and the soundscapes produced by Ana in a time-based installation.

Biographies:
Ana Filipović
Ana Filipović is an architect, spatial designer and independent researcher based in Berlin. Her work focuses on spatial and material manifestations of power structures in society, particularly in the domain of collective housing. Since 2014 Ana has been one-half of IF/THEN, a research-based design practice that explores contemporary conditions for making space in various mediums and scales. Ana holds a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Belgrade and a Master of Arts in Architecture and Critical Spatial Practice from the Staedelschule in Frankfurt am Main.
Luiz Zanotello
Luiz Zanotello (*1986 in Jundiaí, Brazil) is an artist, researcher and educator living and working in Berlin. His work occurs within new media studies, often by conceiving new imaginaries with technology and exploring its narrative, material and critical aspects. Through practice-based artistic research on digital materiality, he crafts electronic installations, machineries and territories for techno-imagination. In the past he has exhibited and given talks at festivals, galleries and institutions in Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates; he has also worked with multiple studios in the design and technology sectors. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Digital Media from the University of the Arts Bremen, and he is currently an Assistant Professor for New Media at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). Luiz is currently a PhD candidate in the binational artistic PhD program of HfK in collaboration with PhDArts in Leiden.
