"Resonanzen"-Konzert im HfK-Musikkeller
Die Premiere der neuen Konzertreihe „Resonanzen“ der Hochschule für Künste (HfK) Bremen im April im HfK-Musikkeller hat das Publikum begeistert. Jetzt findet am 23. Juni 2022 das zweite Konzert statt. Mit dem neuen Format kombinieren die HfK und die Mensa 13 musikalische mit kulinarischen Genüssen.
"Resonanzen" präsentiert die große Bandbreite der in der HfK vertretenen Musikrichtungen in dem besonderen Ambiente des Musikkellers, in dem man die Musikerinnen und Musiker so nah und authentisch erleben kann wie man es sonst eher von dem urbanen Setting des Jazzclubs kennt.
Auch Feinschmecker:innen kommen auf ihre Kosten. In Verbindung mit der Mensa 13, der Gastronomie der HfK in der Dechanatstraße, werden die "Resonanzen"-Abende kulinarisch von Jan-Phillip Iwersen und seinem Team von der renommierten Küche 13 gestaltet – einem der besten Restaurants Bremens.
Am 23. Juni beginnt der Abend um 18 Uhr mit einem Vier-Gänge-Menü der Mensa 13 und geht um 20:30 Uhr in ein Konzert mit Alexandra von der Weth und Artem Yasynskyy über.
Von der Weth ist eine deutsche Opern- und Konzertsängerin sowie Stimmbildnerin und seit November 2021 als Gastprofessorin für Gesang an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen tätig. Die Sopranistin ist eine der gefragtesten Interpretinnen des lyrischen und Koloraturfachs. 1999 debütierte sie als Musetta in „La Bohème“ mit großem Erfolg an der Wiener Staatsoper und 2001 an der Metropolitan Opera New York sowie als Fiordiligi in „Così fan tutte“ beim Glyndebourne-Festival. Vor allem ihr Debüt als Norma an der Deutschen Oper am Rhein im Mai 2003 faszinierte Publikum und internationale Presse gleichermaßen. Gastspiele führten sie unter anderem als Daphne an das Royal Opera House Covent Garden London sowie als Violetta an die Lyric Opera of Chigago.
Der Konzertpianist Artem Yasynskyy wurde in eine Musikerfamilie in Donezk, Ukraine, geboren. Mit acht Jahren gab er sein erstes Konzert. Im Jahr 2010 begann Artem Yasynskyy sein Aufbaustudium an der HfK bei Professor Patrick O'Byrne, dem ein Masterstudium folgte. Beide schloss er mit Auszeichnung ab. Seine Auftritte führten ihn auf zahlreiche renommierte Bühnen: Von der Carnegie Hall über das Konzerthaus Berlin, die Hamburger Laeiszhalle, die Jack Singer Hall in Calgary und die Kyiv Philharmonie. 2021 gewann Artem Yasynskyy darüber hinaus den „Percy Grainger Second Prize“ bei der Sydney International Piano Competition.
Unter dem Motto „Classic Meets Bossa Nova!“ gibt das Duo außergewöhnliche Einblicke in die Vielfalt ihrer Kunst, von den Pariser Abenden des Dichters Charles Baudelaire bis hin zu den sinnlichen Bossa Nova-Melodien Tom Jobims.

Da die erste Veranstaltung im April kurz nach Bekanntgabe ausverkauft war, wird eine frühzeitige Reservierung empfohlen.

Über die Mensa 13
Die Mensa 13 ist die neue Location der Küche 13 in der Dechanatstraße der Hochschule für Künste Bremen. Tagsüber ist sie die Mensa der HfK. Gäste, die zu Mittag essen möchten, sind auch herzlich willkommen. Abends und an den Wochenenden wird die Mensa 13 zu einer Eventlocation für Gesellschaften. Alles mit dem Anspruch und Qualität der Küche13. Der Koch Jan-Philipp Iwersen legt großen Wert auf einwandfreie Herkunft der Ware, auf frische Zubereitung und eine Prise Raffinement.

"Resonanzen" concert in the HfK-Musikkeller
The premiere of the new concert series "Resonanzen" of the Hochschule für Künste (HfK) Bremen that took place in April in the HfK-Musikkeller delighted the audience. "Resonanzen" presents the wide range of musical genres represented at the HfK in the special ambience of the Musikkeller, where you can experience the musicians as closely and authentically as you usually do in the urban setting of a jazz club.
Gourmets will also get their money's worth. In conjunction with Mensa 13, the HfK's gastronomy in Dechanatstraße, the RESONANZEN evenings will be culinarily designed by Jan-Phillip Iwersen and his team from the renowned Küche 13 – one of Bremen's best restaurants.
On June 23, the evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a four-course menu from Mensa 13 and continue at 8:30 p.m. with a concert featuring Alexandra von der Weth and Artem Yasynskyy.
Von der Weth is a German opera and concert singer as well as a voice coach and has been a visiting professor of voice at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen since November 2021. The soprano is one of the most sought-after interpreters of the lyric and coloratura repertoire. In 1999 she made her debut as Musetta in "La Bohème" with great success at the Vienna State Opera and in 2001 at the Metropolitan Opera New York, as well as Fiordiligi in "Così fan tutte" at the Glyndebourne Festival. Above all, her debut as Norma at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in May 2003 fascinated audiences and the international press alike. The concert pianist Artem Yasynskyy was born into a family of musicians in Donetsk, Ukraine. He gave his first concert at the age of eight. In 2010, Yasynskyy began his postgraduate studies at the HfK with Professor Patrick O'Byrne, followed by a master's degree. He completed both with distinction. His performances have taken him to numerous prestigious stages: From Carnegie Hall to the Konzerthaus Berlin, Hamburg's Laeiszhalle, Jack Singer Hall in Calgary and the Kyiv Philharmonic. In 2021, Artem Yasynskyy also won the "Percy Grainger Second Prize" at the Sydney International Piano Competition.
Under the motto "Classic Meets Bossa Nova!" the duo gives extraordinary insights into the diversity of their art, from the Parisian evenings of the poet Charles Baudelaire to the sensual Bossa Nova melodies of Tom Jobim.

About Mensa 13
Mensa 13 is the new location of Küche 13 in Dechanatstraße at the Hochschule für Künste Bremen. During the day it is the cantine of the HfK. Anyone else who would like to have lunch is welcome. In the evenings and on weekends, Mensa 13 becomes an event location. With the standard and quality of the Küche 13.
