The University of the Arts Bremen extends its condolence to all people affected by the devastating natural disaster.
Devastating earthquakes occurred in Turkey and Syria in February 2023. The natural disaster killed more than 37,000 people, leaving many injured and suddenly homeless. The full extent of the destruction cannot yet be assessed.
The community of the University of the Arts Bremen is very international, many of our members come from Turkey and Syria and have family and friends there. The University of the Arts Bremen expresses its condolences to all people affected by this devastating natural disaster.
