Competition success for Kalliopi Rizou

HfK student Kalliopi Rizou wins the coveted Ismenis Carter Scholarship

The HfK student Kalliopi Rizou (Bachelor Violin, class of Prof. Katrin Scholz) prevailed with an outstanding performance in this year's Greek competition for the Ismenis Carter Scholarship and won the coveted scholarship! The scholarship, which includes a total sum of 24,000 € as well as numerous concert engagements, is awarded to and supports the best Greek violinists studying at foreign universities. Only one scholarship is awarded per year. The competition, which took place on 2 and 3 October in Athens, was held for the 10th time.

Kalliopi already emerged as the winner at the HfK's Internal University Competition in June. We congratulate her on this outstanding success!
