Music

Since 1991, the Faculty of Music has been located directly in Bremen's city centre, in Dechanatstraße, which is close to the market square and Roland. The listed building has been lovingly restored and adapted to the needs of a music academy. The facilities include a: Concert hall, chamber music hall, gallery, recording studio, Studio for Electroacoustic Music, Musikkeller, rehearsal rooms, dining hall, spacious ensemble and teaching rooms. 

With its numerous public concerts and regular opera projects, the Department of Music is a lively and influential part of Bremen's cultural life: in orchestral projects, diploma concerts, class recitals or solo evenings, organ or choir concerts, teachers and students contribute to the city's rich musical programme and at the same time gain important practical experience for their future careers.

Department 1, office for students, the dean of each faculty and the dean of studies are ready to provide information on studies and applying.
