Instrumental (Concert Exam)
The study programme is focussed on university didactics. As the entry level is demanding artistically and pedagogically, graduates will be well prepared for a broad professional field in the areas of education and music education, as teachers in advanced and continued music education and other training areas. They also qualify to work as performing musicians.
After the first year of study, students who have completed an artistic degree as a Bachelor will formally have the qualifications of a Bachelor KPA, while those who have already completed a BM-KPA degree have initial skills in teaching with professionals. The second year qualifies all students for activities in university didactics by providing them with skills for musical-cultural work with amateurs as well as for work with professionals in continued education and training contexts.
Lecturers
The lecturers in the field of music are renowned musicians who perform in concert halls around the world. A close and co-operative exchange between students and teachers is of central importance in the field of music.

In accordance with the examination and study regulations, the dean of studies ensures that the individual courses of study are progressed appropriately, decides on measures to ensure that the necessary courses are offered with adequate supervision and ensures that student interests are appropriately taken into account. The dean of studies supports you throughout your studies and coordinates subject-specific advice from lecturers.
