Trombone

The advancement of the musical and technical potential of musicians is the first pillar of the study experience in the degree programmes Bachelor and Master in Trombone and in preparation for a concert exam. Major and chamber music lessons as well as regular ensemble lessons in collaboration with other instrumental classes are part of the course, which aims to train professional musicians and instrumental teachers at an international level. Students are given the opportunity to explore the range of solo and orchestral literature, the trombone ensemble and brass chamber music. Their excellence and ability to handle criticism are encouraged, and they are also required to take new paths in professional practice. Class evenings and concerts as well as regular audition simulations are part of a career-oriented study environment, as are ensemble projects and master classes.
