Singing (Concert Exam)

The Concert Exam in Singing is intended to enable students with exceptional singing talent to achieve a particularly high interpretative quality in the areas of song, oratorio and opera. The main subject course comprises 1.5 semester hours per week. The concert exam concludes with two public concerts, one of which is performed with an orchestra. The prerequisite for the 4-semester programme is a Master of Music in artistic training with a grade of “good” (at least grade 2.5) or a comparable degree, with the main subject being graded “very good” (at least grade 1.5) or “with distinction.”

The programmes for the entrance examination and the previous examination for the Master of Music must be submitted with the application. These prior exams should have happened within the last four years before the application deadline. Applicants must provide musicians to accompany them for the entrance examination.
