Die Hochschule für Künste Bremen trauert um Prof. Peter Rea

Von 1993 bis 2008 war Peter Rea Gastprofessor an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen, im Jahr 2000 bestellte ihn die Hochschule zum Honorarprofessor für Intermedien.

Als Initiator und Leiter der Intermedia-Konferenz „profile intermedia – international conference on the crossover in design, photography, art, video, film and music“ etablierte er in Bremen eine Veranstaltungsreihe mit internationaler Ausstrahlung.

Peter Rea war ein Avantgardist des Integrierten Design, eine der markantesten Gestalten der Hochschule – ein brillianter Kopf.

Die Beisetzung findet am 22. November 2014 um 9.30 Uhr auf dem Waldfriedhof Syke, Herrlichkeit 38, statt.

Dear Friends of Peter,
My name is Penny Rea and I am the younger sister of Peter Rea.
By now I am sure that you will know of the sad news that Peter passed away on 3rd October 2014 after an incurable illness.
His daughter Rebecca has asked that I ensure that you are all aware of the details of the service and burial of his ashes at the Forest Cemetery in Syke in case you wish to attend. Unfortunately she has only passed me the email addresses so I apologise that I am not able to address you by name.
