Some suggest that the twilight of the globalization era is marked by inward withdrawal. But if I look inward, I may already be the host of rising multipolar orders carving new trade routes, real and imagined belongings, a genocidal occupation, and amalgamations of friend and enemy, self and other.
Bio
Brian Kuan Wood is a writer, editor, and curator in New York. He is a founding editor of e-flux journal and has taught since 2015 at the MA Curatorial Practice program at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he was Director of Research from 2017 to 2022. With Freya Chou and Reem Shadid he curated the 2023 Taipei Biennial “Small World”.
