Deans’ Offices

The Dean's Office manages the faculty, implements the decisions of the Faculty Council and is responsible to it. Members of the two deaneries at the University of the Arts are the dean, the deputy dean and the dean of studies. The head of the department administration and, if necessary, a special representative of the dean's office are advisory members of the dean's office. The dean represents the faculty within the university and in supra-regional subject- and programme-specific committees. All other tasks of the Dean's Office are described under § 89 of the Bremen Higher Education Act and in the respective rules of procedure of the Dean's Office.
