The University of the Arts Bremen (HfK) offers study programmes in Fine Arts, Integrated Design, Digital Media as well as the artistic and artistic-pedagogic training at the Faculty of Music. The HfK also offers the choice to do a PhD at the Binational Artistic PhD-Program.

The Hanseatic city is a cosmopolitan, but at the same time cosy and traditional city on the river, characterised by northern German serenity, short distances, lots of greenery and a lively cultural scene. On the one hand, life in Bremen is like living in a vibrant big city – on the other hand, it is a "village with a tram", as locals sometimes say. Over 37,000 students are currently enrolled at Bremen's four public and five private universities.

We try to give you a small impression of Bremen's diversity and at the same time provide some practical tips.
