The AAIP (Artists as Independent Publishers) exhibition project was initiated at the University of the Arts Bremen by Prof. Katrin von Maltzahn and Prof. Heike Kati Barath; it is designed as a traveling exhibition and connects various art academies worldwide.

This year, in addition to the HfG Offenbach and the University of the Arts Bremen, the Kassel Art Academy, the St. Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp, the University of Applied Arts Vienna, and the Durban University of Technology are also participating.

On display is a broad spectrum of book art works created over the past semesters as part of courses at the participating universities. The exhibition in Offenbach will also feature books from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle as a guest contribution.

The exhibition at the Klingspor Museum Offenbach marks the start of a series showcasing books by art students from six national and international art colleges, created during the winter semester of 2025/2026.
