Branches and Stitches

This workshop mixes two different techniques for the production of images. We will be using a Lindenmayer's formal grammar to generate digital images via a custom computer program and hand embroidery techniques to sew the images. During the first part, we will explore different types of stitches, then use an implementation in Processing of a Lindenmeyer system. In the third part, we will sew one image onto watercolor paper.
