Displaying "The Best German Books 2025"

In 2025, the Art Branch Library at the HfK Bremen will once again present “the most beautiful German books”, awarded by the Stiftung Buchkunst.
In the annual competition, two expert juries select five works from each of the categories “General Literature”, “Academic Books”, “Specialist Books, School and Textbooks”, “Guidebooks, Non-fiction”, “Art Books, Photo Books, Exhibition Catalogues” and “Children’s Books, Young Adult Books” in a multi-stage process. They are “exemplary in design, concept and craftsmanship, and demonstrate a wide range of creative and production possibilities”. The award-winning titles are also nominated for the “Stiftung Buchkunst Prize”, which is endowed with 10,000 euros.
We will be displaying the nominated books in a small exhibition.
