EVENTS TO MARKGERMAN UNITY DAY: HfK Open House

German Unity Day: ‘Open House’ at the Bremen University of the Arts
In early October 2026, Germany will be celebrating German Unity Day in Bremen, and we’ll be joining in the celebrations! The city will be transformed into a festival venue – from Domshof to the Weserstadion – and at the Bremen University of the Arts, too, you can experience a varied programme from the Fine Art, Integrated Design, Digital Media and Music degree programmes under the motto “Open House – from brass to wood”: The Department of Art and Design will be showcasing final-year projects and exhibitions featuring a wide variety of materials, whilst the Department of Music will be presenting short concerts ranging from brass instruments to accordion, vocals, organ, percussion, early music and jazz, right through to woodwind instruments!

Open House: Exhibitions and short talks from the Department of Art and Design, ranging from painting, photography, printmaking, fashion, product design and wooden stools to building blocks, as well as the exhibition ‘HfK goes space’ in collaboration with the DLR and the DLR School Lab Bremen

12:00–7:00 p.m. | Hof und Musikkeller 
The Mensa13 team will be serving food and drink, from sweet treats to hearty fare, and looks forward to seeing you there!
