Constantly searching for new sounds and new forms of expression, “PINNOWATION” is dedicated to the versatile compositions of bandleader and pianist Moritz Pinnow. Their music combines traditional jazz approaches with modern elements from various styles. Inspired by artists ranging from Bill Evans to Esbjörn Svenssson, they create a captivating soundscape of delicate lyrical moments and groovy passages. Pinnow's playing is characterized by interwoven harmonic complexity and playful, joyful melodies, which are deliberately supported or contrasted by the band. The quartet skillfully creates emotional moments in a constant exchange with each other and the audience.
