The Cave – Indie rock that lives in the moment
What happens when four young, creative minds come together to make music that’s both fun and thought-provoking? The Cave from Bremen have answered that very question for themselves. Formed in 2021, the band has since become a powerful blend of euphoria, exhilaration and a sound that oscillates between harmony and dissonance on stage.
The origins of The Cave lie in a guitar-drums duo from their childhood days. Today, the band consists of singer Lucy Trollope, guitarist Fabio Windt, drummer Leander Köckritz and bassist Lovis Eilts. Their music is a fluid, danceable, colourful mix that not only fills the room but takes the audience on an adventurous journey. With a sound that draws on indie rock, jazz and electronic dance rhythms, they manage to both move and touch their audience. Since their formation, they have already released two singles: Nightmares and EVERYTHING.
These early musical ventures not only demonstrated the band’s versatility but also paved the way for their future development. In 2024, The Cave celebrated another major success when they won the Bremen School Rock Festival. Having played over 50 concerts, the band has continuously refined its live performance. Their gigs are what define The Cave: a unique experience that invites people to live in the moment and get up and dance. Now the four musicians want to broaden their horizons by trying out their music on new stages and developing it further.
