Just Another Intelligence

"Just Another Intelligence" gathers projects that probe forms of intelligence beyond human definitions and perspectives. Through playful investigations into material intelligence and cognition, critical AI practices, kinetic objects, and machine experiments, the works take shape as a kite that senses and records the sky, an autonomous machine that withdraws from human contact, an orchestra assembled from discarded devices, and a kinetic installation that continually forms new constellations through static electricity. Other works include a drill core whose surface vibrations are traced and translated into motion and visual abstraction and an AI-like process that reorganizes visitors' film impressions through looping trailers and typewriter interaction – among others.
