North German Clarinet Days – Concerts, events, workshops, and discussions dedicated to the clarinet. Thursday to Sunday, October 2 to 5, 2025.
High-caliber concerts, workshops for and with professionals, discussions with solo clarinetists, introductory courses, and more: Artistic director Marco Thomas, professor at the HfK Bremen, has once again put together an appealing and varied program for the North German Clarinet Days. Numerous clarinetists from all over Germany, from amateur clarinetists to music students, music students, or clarinet teachers interested in further training, make the pilgrimage to the HfK Bremen every year.
The festival was founded in 2005 with the aim of making the clarinet and its diversity accessible to a wide audience. Concerts therefore incorporate a variety of styles. The wealth of possibilities offered by the clarinet is also conveyed in courses and workshops. The artistic director of the festival is Prof. Marco Thomas.
“The North German Clarinet Days have become a fixture in Bremen's concert calendar,” says Prof. Marco Thomas. "In 2025, there will be lots of new and exciting things to discover about the clarinet for both concertgoers and course and workshop participants from all over Germany.
