Open Space Domshof – Marktkonzert: Phrygian Clouds

Inspired by a soundscape woven from poetry, the Gothic harp, the frame drum and their naturally intertwining voices, Lola Suraya Atkinson and Juana Casas Ferrús create their own musical language. Their roots lie in early music, jazz, and Spanish and Welsh folk music. From this, the two musicians develop intimate spaces for improvisation and encounter, and an atmospheric, finely woven sound that bridges tradition and free musical experimentation.
