Open Space Domshof – Nia Power Trio

The music of the NIA Power Trio oscillates between intimacy and a sense of new beginnings, between quiet moments and bursts of energy. In their songs, the three musicians – Antonia, Jannik and Jakob – explore themes of connection, longing, grief and the courage to embrace one’s emotions – at times melancholic, at times warm and full of movement.

Musically, the trio blends singer-songwriter, folk-pop, jazz and improvised passages into a richly contrasting sound that blends acoustic and electronic elements. Against a backdrop of warm basslines and interactive drumming, sophisticated melodies unfold alongside a multi-faceted voice that lends the songs their distinctive intimacy.
