Open Space Domshof – Opening
On 10 June, we’re kicking off the eighth Open Space summer with talks and music! Until 8 August, Domshof will once again become a creative open-air hub for everyone, organised by the University of the Arts Bremen. With concerts, DJs, dance evenings, tastings, children’s activities and more. Come along and bring your friends!
Your hosts for the evening will be: Prof. Dr Mirjam Boggasch, president of the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK), which is organising the project; Maike Frese, State Councillor to the Senator for Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation; and Felix Böhme, Managing Director of M3B GmbH. The musical opening will be provided by Stella Rodenbusch & Jonas Roustai and the trombone class of the University of the Arts Bremen. The HfK will also present a preview of its opera project. The evening will be hosted by David Bartusch from the Open Space Team.
Followed by a concert from around 8 pm:
KOTA NO UTA
KOTA NO UTA’s music moves between nu-jazz, folk and electronic soundscapes. The Berlin-based artist blends influences from Central Asia and Eastern Europe with warm double bass lines, airy percussion, jazzy guitars and gentle vocals that range from R&B to flamenco and folk. Her songs tell of bodies, memories, nature and spiritual figures – at times intimate, at times atmospheric and expansive.
