On two evenings at the Alte Pumpwerk, vocal students from the University of the Arts will perform Giacomo Puccini's “Gianni Schicchi,” a one-act opera with libretto by Giovacchino Forzano, as well as excerpts and scenes from “Rusalka” by Antonín Dvořák.
The students of Prof. Maria Kowollik, Hon. Prof. Krisztina Laki, Prof. Thomas Mohr, and Alexandra von der Weth are looking forward to delighting the audience with a new opera project and their vocal talents. Ansgar Weigner is the artistic director. Experience an evening full of love, suffering, and drama!
