Queering the Loop: Marginalized Communities and AI’s Trouble with Change
Martin Mundt is Professor of Lifelong Machine Learning at the University of Bremen. His research focuses on how AI systems can adapt sustainably over time, a question with many dimensions, including who is empowered to participate in shaping them. He is also core organizer of the grassroots non-profit Queer in AI, whose community-led participatory work received awards at ACM FAccT 2023 and 2026.
