Tribörs!

On 3 November, the HfK Bremen will be hosting an evening dedicated to contemporary chamber music. Under the title ‘Tribörs!’, the Ribörs Ensemble will present an extraordinary variety of trio line-ups from different areas of the university: a woodwind trio, a brass trio, a string trio and a percussion trio will showcase the sonic possibilities of this format across a wide range of aesthetic styles.

The ensembles are coached by Prof. René Gulikers and will perform works by Sofia Gubaidulina, Erwin Koch-Raphael, Jan Kohl, Oliver Schneller, Vito Žuraj and Wenjing Guo. It is particularly pleasing that the composers Erwin Koch-Raphael – Professor of Composition and Music Theory at the HfK until 2015 – and Oliver Schneller will be attending the concert in person.
