Bewerbungsfrist: 15 February 2022

The competition D-bü (neologism referring to the German pronunciation of the word „debut“), is a competition for new, unusual and innovative performance formats. Eight of the submitted projects will be presented in Trossingen from 23–28 May 2022.

Topics such as innovation and originality as well as any form of extraordinary music projects are in the spotlight: e.g. spatial concepts, music mediation, IT interfaces, staged performances. Advanced, innovative and interdisciplinary projects from music and KuD are in demand, especially from cooperations between both departments.

Three applications for the competition as well as one student jury member can be suggested by the HfK until 15 February 2022.

The HfK internal application deadline for the pre-selection of applications for the competition and the student jury member is 17 January 2022.
