International competition successes in the trombone class
2nd and 3rd prizes in Portugal and China
The Trombone Class Bremen recently achieved two successes in international competitions.
Tiago Chaves won third prize at the International Wind Instrument Competition, which took place for the 16th time in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. He impressed the jury with his musical interpretation.
Jintao Zhu received second prize at the 6th China International Low Brass Competition in Wuhan, China. With his virtuoso playing, he prevailed against 500 competitors.
