Areas of responsibility:
Communication and topic management
- Developing and managing the HfK’s key communication themes, as well as identifying, evaluating and adapting editorial topics to suit specific target groups
- Strategic integration of the HfK’s internal and external, as well as digital and analogue, communication measures and information services
- Management of editorial processes and coordination of communication measures with internal and external stakeholders
Editorial and Content
- Editorial responsibility for press relations, newsletters, social media, and print and online publications in German and English
- Conducting research, interviews and consultations with university staff, alumni, and internal and external experts
- Drafting and ensuring the editorial quality of press releases, articles and other communication formats
Press and Media Relations
- Coordinating press enquiries and liaising with media representatives during press events and other functions
- Supporting the HfK’s positioning in the regional, national and international public sphere through targeted press and media relations
Quality and External Image
- Ensuring a consistent external image of the HfK across all relevant communication channels and formats
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the HfK’s external communication strategy and editorial standards
