Intensive course in music theory and ear training

The University of the Arts Bremen offers all applicants a 2-day intensive course in “music theory and ear training” to prepare for the entrance exam at German music universities (for first semester in the winter semester) . The course takes place in person.

• Music theory / General music theory:
  Tone designation, intervals, triads and their inversions, tetrachords and their inversions, scales and scales and scales, keys, chord resolutions, function and step designations
• Aural eduction:
  Basics of aural analysis, intervals, triads and their inversions, tetrachords and their inversions, melody and their inversions, melodic dictation, two-part dictation, exercises for independent independent ear training
