Open House: Fête de la Musique 2026
Opening hours
The Fête de la Musique is celebrated worldwide on 21 June, the start of the calendar summer. This year, the University of the Arts (HfK) Bremen is once again taking this as an opportunity to host an open day in the lively atmosphere of the Music Department at Dechanatstraße 13–15 – as an invitation to the whole city.
On 21 June from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., students and staff will come together to stage a grand musical summer festival with a varied programme in the halls, corridors, stairwells and courtyards of the HfK.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the town twinning between Gdańsk and Bremen, we are particularly delighted to welcome the young musicians of the German-Polish Festival as part of our summer festival.
The concerts are free of charge and open to all. In this way, the HfK Bremen invites you not only to celebrate, listen and marvel, but also to join in, discover and learn – a musical experience in the heart of the city that brings students, teachers and guests together in a special way.
