Open Space Domshof – HfK meets La Strada: Interconnection
When INTERCONNECTION takes to the stage, a musical space without boundaries is created. This international project brings together musicians from different countries, musical traditions and life experiences – united by jazz, improvisation and a shared quest for sound, exchange and connection.
The band moves between contemporary jazz, reinterpreted standards and original compositions. Oriental influences meet experimental sounds, free improvisation meets melodic passages. The result is a multi-layered, open sound that bridges tradition and the present.
The line-up features Mongolian pianist Yadamjav Battogtokh, jazz drummer Frederik Palupski, saxophonist Moritz Christiansen, guitarist Fabio Joel Tunno and double bassist Martin Gruet, who has previously worked with the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra. Together, they create music as a collective process – at times delicate and restrained, at others powerful and energetic.
As part of the “HfK meets La Strada” series, three concerts will take place on Friday evening on the Open Space stage:
- 7:00 pm: Cajuzinho & Cor em Canto
- 7:45 pm: Trombone Quartet of the University of the Arts Bremen
- 8:15 pm: INTERCONNECTION
