Winners' concert: University Prize for Music 2025

This year's winners of the University Prize for Music have been announced. The jury has awarded two 2nd places:

and in the main subject: Students from the classes of Prof Andreas Mäder, Katja Schulte-Bunert (flute), Prof Olaf Reimers (baroque cello), Thomas Schmitz (cello), Claudia Birkholz, Prof Martin Stadtfeld (piano), Prof Maria Kowollik (voice), Prof Olaf Tzschoppe (percussion) and Christian Schoenefeld (jazz percussion)

Jury's appraisal: ‘Elements of theatre, dance, musical, jazz, improvisation and acting were woven into a creatively independent, socially topical and rousing performance.’
