Publishing – completely legal?

Jule Körperich is an artist (who studied at the HfK) and a lawyer in Bremen specializing in copyright and media law. This lunchtime talk will address specific issues relating to the publication of works.

For many creative professionals, publishing is part of their everyday work. But even here, in addition to the question of how to cite sources correctly and which fonts may be used, there are many pitfalls that can be easily avoided with the right knowledge. The lecture will provide an overview of image rights for publications, (once again) the right to quote, publishers, and formalities such as imprint, university copies, and collecting societies.
