HfK Social Fund

The HfK Social Fund supports students who are in acute financial need.

During the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, students have had to manage many additional challenges. Some of our students are also facing serious financial need, because many of the usual opportunities to obtain money have disappeared due to lack of familial support, canceled concerts, or the loss of part-time work, etc.

The need for the social fund is now more urgent than ever, due to the war in Ukraine, as we have recently received initial requests from refugee students who would like to continue their studies in Bremen.

Unfortunately, the HfK Bremen is not permitted to finance this fund from its budget, and so we must rely upon your donations. Your donations make it possible for us to provide immediate help to students in acute financial straits, or, for example to cover non-waivable semester fees for refugee students, so that they can enroll without delay.

If you would like to support students at the HfK, donations in any amount, large or small, are very welcome.
