The Faculty of Music comprises Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in the fields of Artistic Training (KA), Artistic-Pedagogical Training (KPA) and Historical Church Music. Whether Singing, Instrumental Major, Early or Contemporary Music, Composition, Church Music, Jazz or Music Education – the HfK Bremen offers all students intensive and individual artistic support in a very personal and open atmosphere.

In addition to the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, the concert exam, the young students programme and the continuing education programme are important pillars of the department.

The programme is complemented by a wide range of collaborations with international partner universities and close cooperation with Bremen's cultural and educational institutions.
