Early Music (Continuing Education)

The programme Continuing Education is primarily designed for working musicians and music teachers who already have a university degree or can demonstrate special professional and artistic experience. However, it can also be attended by students who would like to qualify in another major subject at the same time. The course includes teaching the main subject during two consecutive semesters of an academic year, subject to free teaching capacity in the chosen main subject. For example, musicians who already work in an orchestra can acquire an additional part-time qualification in the field of Early Music and historically informed performance practice.

The lecturers in the field of music are renowned musicians who perform in concert halls around the world. A close and co-operative exchange between students and teachers is of central importance in the field of music.
