French Horn

The training for the modern French horn at the HfK Bremen offers students a solid progression of their skills to a high level of artistic and pedagogical competence. The bachelor's and master's degree programmes as well as the concert exam include an in-depth study of the entire spectrum the French horn literature. Stylistically and technically, a comprehensive repertoire including orchestral, opera and chamber music literature is developed with each student using the latest methodology and didactics as well as an informed level of knowledge, with the aim of creating an individual profile. Regular auditions and studio concerts consolidate artistic development.
