Performance training in the student’s chosen instrumental Major is the main focus of this programme. The range of subjects covered in this programme reflects the diversification of contemporary professional music practice and includes the following: Chamber Music/Ensemble, Performance Practice for Early Music, New Music Ensemble, and Music Mediation.
Project work in the University’s orchestra, chamber orchestra, and a variety of other chamber music formations and collaborative constellations lend the programme a strong practical character and provide students with plenty of opportunities to perform for audiences.
